I use a phone app called Dash Command.
Seems to do the job, but there are a bunch of similar ones.
Also FWIW O’Reilly Auto Parts can read ABS codes, and Autozone doesn’t. Not sure if it’s just local or everywhere.
They helped me identify a bad ground point on my 99 truck that was displaying the ABS light, a free repair.
Well, thanks again for the good advice and info. Something to be added to my toolkit.
I seldom go to Autozone. I was warned off buying parts from them by my mechanic, but I seldom went there in the first place. Last time I went, the kid who sold me the winshield wipers didn’t know how to put them on.
O’Reilly’s? Great place, great service, and VERY helpful to us ol’ wimminses.
