I know he’s on a respirator and non-responsive, and this is in line with his wishes.
Delaying the end to allow time for his brother to be there.
He’s at Flagler MICU room 3057, The staff has been EXPLICITLY instructed to not limit visitors to family.
Oh, that’s very sad. I remember he was very sick at least once before but got better.
Vlad decided his leg felt better, so I played with him and Pat. It was fun.
Congrats on the thinner clothes!
Wow. That’s sad, but at least he knew enough to tell the staff (in one way or another) that visitors were welcome to say goodbye.
I’ve been sitting here cussing the top I’m wearing because it’s a little tight, and then I realized that the last time I washed it before I put it away was at Busdaddy’s, and therefore, I used the dryer. I hate that. So I’m going to go change before I go outside with the peeps.
One of the gals was almost rude yesterday, and I’ve decided now that if she asks if she can ask me a question, I’ll tell her, “Not if it’s personal.” She was very curious about why my daughter was so much shorter than I am, and even asked if my kids had different fathers. Well, yes, they do. Because one was adopted. I don’t think that’s the answer she was looking for, but ohwell.
She probably doesn’t realize that not everyone is impressed with her. She is another success story gone bad in Vegas. Had lots of money, cars, boats, RVs, etc, but gambled a lot and got fired from a lot of jobs, so now, she’s living in public housing with the rest of us low income slugs.
Good answer. Then you can talk about the weather!
I don't want to go out to Walmart, because it's cold and rainy, but if I don't, we'll have mixed leftover for supper.
I’m going to wait for Monday to go to Walmart because I don’t have an awful lot of money left and I want to see what I will need the most by then. Probably yogurt, again.
With the wind the way it is, I’d rather be in the cold and rain. I can only listen to it just so long and then I need to shut the door so I don’t hear it any more.
I’ve found a casserole recipe and cut up the leftover chicken. Now I know how much I have (5 cups), so I can figure the proportional amounts for the rest of the ingredients. Yay, maths! as Pat would say ...
I’ve forgotten how to cook for a horde, though when I was 17, I spent two weeks on a farm, caring for nine kids while the 10th one was born. My FiL told my MiL after one of their visits, that it was the first time he ever walked into that house and it didn’t smell like “pi**y” diapers.
But yah, I learned how to cook for a LOT of people!
Disposable diapers ... the greatest invention in history ... along with plastic bags in which to dispose them.
Yes, but this was in 1962...a little bit before disposable diapers! And I learned how to wash them so they had no stains in them, too! Using a wringer washer!
I’m impressed! *shudder*
Couch maintenance complete, time for a cup of Tea.
(((Hugs)))
No reason , just because. :)
*bowing to my adoring fan*
Thank you. Thank you very much.

{{{moosie}}}
Backatcha, dude! Just because I can! :o])
When someone asks, “Can I ask you a question?” the correct answer is, “I believe you just did. And one’s enough for today.”
Elen’s playing scales on the electric guitar. Oh, now she’s playing boogie riffs.
I’m going out to get the mail. If I don’t come back, I might be hiding in the van.
