It’s 81 degrees, and I’ve been out twice in it, feeling like I needed a sweater both times! SE @13, 26% *ugh* and partly cloudy.

And in case you are wondering, I’ve dropped another two pounds! YES! :o])

I’m glad to hear it! Mom lost several pounds this week because she broke her dental bridge and couldn’t eat. Hopefully it’s fixed now; she hasn’t emailed in a couple of days.

I have finally seen a loss on my home scale, after 9 days without wine and pretzels (or Cheezits, or crackers, or chips). If something didn’t happen shortly, I was going to have to start counting Points.

I haven’t had any wine in probably two months. I think the last time I even had any beer was in March. It just seemed that food was more important, so I bypassed the alcohol. Today, I feet like I really want to go buy some beer, but changed my mind...it’s the food thing, again.

And I haven’t had much of an appetite, lately.

I’ve figured out that what I really need is sleep.

Since I was up at 0300 again, I thought I might take a nap, but it didn’t work out that way, so, within a few more hours, I’ll trundle off to bed.

However, I’ll do what I can get done in the meantime.

Chuck asked me to order more clothes for him, yesterday, and I loathe dealing with that company. They are so slow and so inept, it irritates me no end. But Chuck is short and chubby, and this company has the clothes that fit him. *groan*

I tried to tell him last time that I didn’t want to deal with them again, but it didn’t work. :o|

And I think what I need is some hibiscus tea before I go meet the peeps.

Good luck! I have to take Epic Fail Lawn Service to the gas station to get gas for the mower, since the Student Prince took the car to his museum gig. I already took Epic Fail Plumbing Service to the hardware store for a toilet valve. (Unfortunately, they don’t communicate, or we could have gotten the gas in the same trip.)

Then it will be Naptime.

Once upon a time long long ago in the days of High Speed Flight (which is not like High Speed Rail in CA), I was doing my techstuff at a jobsite in the landing path of JFK. I called BOAC, er, Brit Air, er whoever they were then and AirFroggie and inquired as to arrival times.

And managed to take a break out on the roof in sufficient time to at least watch them land. Takeoffs were another story since that typically occurred going away from my vantage point.

(Of course the friendly phone person at BritAir tried to talk me into buying a ticket so I could see the operation up close and personal like.. ;-)

I still went to bed a little early, so I missed the 00,

I knew you were horizontal but usually someone wanders through between the time you bed down and and I do. ;-)

I don’t like cherries. They have pits.

Which is not the same as saying "I don't like Camden and Trenton. They are the pits."

I’m glad you got to see them land, a beautiful piece of aluminium.

I need that too, and I’m really hoping that I can sleep in tomorrow, at least until 0400. Dang. I’m tired, but it’s way too early to go get parallel to the deck.

So I’ll hang in there, and hopefully, I can sleep when I really want to. :o|

My trip to the gas station with Epic Fail took a wrong turn when I locked the keys, my purse, and my phone in the van. Everything but my debit card. A few phone calls and $75 later, we were back on the road, feeling stupid, but what’s new?

Then I went to nap and he mowed the lawn. Now I’m loading garage sale items in the van to take to church later, and Tom is in the shower.

There’s a law enforcement event across the street: not the usual kind (drink, drugs, and fighting at Vicki’s) but something involving April’s teenaged daughter (one house to the left).
