It’s one am here. I could go for the pear. Partridge would not be my cup of tea.
Hmmm. I might make a cup of tea and go back to sleep, I woke up from a nightmare.
Sleep well, Gefn.
May the Sheep of sleep be with you. :)
I don’t have a stuffed sheep but I have an elephant and a panda in bed with me.
Someday I’ll graduate to a man I guess. :)
An ugly kid in an apple tree?
He may be a Partridge, but those aren’t pears!!
Awwww...Monday Squee!
The night sweats woke me up. It’s a good thing it’s wash day because I’ve run out of shirts to sleep in!
My dreams had a lot of red in them and that bothers me. I also dreamed I was working and got chewed out by the boss for something that happened on my day off. Odd how one can squeeze a week into a few minutes of dreaming.
The wind has blown all night, and will let up for a few hours before it starts again for the night. We’ve had some moisture, but I don’t know how much. Probably enough to lay down some more snow at the ski resort. I hope. It looks so pretty from here.
Good morning. It’s supposed to rain most of the day here, but clear up again by nighttime.
Headed out to the gym in a few minutes. Sally is going to yoga, but I’m going to lift weights today.
I had bad dreams too. Went here taked to moose and fell back asleep. Had more weird dreams but not bad dreams.
I so wanted a kitty last night to snuggle and calm me. People don’t realize how lonely it can be by yourself this time of year.
I wish I had the energy you have. I used to quite active, but then CFIDS happened.
Wash day isn’t relished here because I have to wait in the cold for the door to be unlocked, but I like clean clothes, so I need to do it on a regular basis. It would be so much nicer to have my own place...I have NOT given up on that dream!
I read your posts to Moosie, and thought I knew exactly how you were feeling. Hang in there! Only a few weeks left and the major holidays (depression factors) will be behind us!
I’ve lived alone most of my adult life, since I was married to a sailor, but it’s harder and harder as I get older. It would be so nice to hear another voice besides my own!
My dreams were pretty vivid, too, and I hate seeing red in them. If it keeps showing up, I will have to be prepared for something bad. Of course, it may not happen for six months, but still, I don’t like red in my dreams.

I'm still managing with a tee shirt and a windbreaker.
And fat and a beard.
For today's shirt:
It’s not cold here.
My next challenge is getting the people to do some schoolwork.
I could probably add the fat, but the beard it confined to the top of my head. It’s shoulder length, now.
Great shirt!
It’s 43 with wind about 12, and overcast. My coat just isn’t warm enough.
I was surprised that the door was opened when I got to the community building this morning. So I got the clothes washed and will hang them up soon. I will have to have another pain pill before I do that, but it’s good that I have them!
At least I didn’t have to stand in the cold wind and curse the managers for taking away our laundry room key...
The barometer is still dropping and the storm glass is storming, and I wish I felt like taking a nap. This is weird.
Kittens make everything better.
They are magical.
“Iâm trying hard not to kill anyone via coffee.”
Not to worry Darks, we have free will.
” I wanted to go see the Bolshoi perform Swan Lake, but couldnât get tickets. What a disappointment!”
Memories. Back in 1979, my future wife DEMANDED that I get tickets to the Bolshoi Ballet, as they were coming to Los Angeles. It was a Saturday night performance, and the night before, one member asked for asylum. The night we attended, another asked for, and was granted asylum. Moscow then cancelled the rest of the scheduled performances, and issued a peremptory summons for the Bolshoi to return to Russia. They didn’t return for years. LOL
LOL!
I remember that! IIRC, Nuryev defected on one of their trips, too. I don’t think he’s ever gone back.
Did you get your heated mattress pad?
