The United States sold scrap metal to Japan in the 30’s. On December 7, 1941 Japan began returning the scrap metal as bullets, bombs, and bayonets. Before long the “refugees” will return the favor done to them in their own way. The United States of America will go down in history as the first Nation to commit National suicide. Betrayed and stabbed in the back by its leaders. For reasons only they know.

And after the war the armaments were loaded onto transport ships. I've heard that someone asked one of the captains where the hardware was going. He said, half to Korea and the other to Vietnam.

I believe the above story to be true. The world is a complex place and the United States doesn't appear to be in charge.

That scrap metal was from the dismantled 3rd Av el and most of the 9th Av el south of the old Polo Grounds in NYC. It was an early recycling effort, and look where it got us.
