Actually, she was in a retirement home when she voted (both times), and she just passed away in October at 97 y.o. Her meds, hospital costs, etc., just kept escalating and she couldn’t grasp the concept that there was a connection.
She was upset when we moved from near her in California in 2010. We never missed the chance to tell her we wouldn’t have had to do that if Hussein hadn’t messed with defense contractors so DH’s worksite closed. We told her — rubbed it in — that if Obama hadn’t been elected we could have stayed there in CA. Aren’t we mean? (We didn’t tell her that we couldn’t wait to leave that California cesspool.)
