Ronald Reagan changed decades before he ran for the presidency. He didn't "claim" to have changed so he could appeal to conservatives during a campaign. He was conservative. Trump, a liberal, is not, nor has he changed. His "sorry conservatives" on the topic of socialized healthcare and his 2013 praising of gun-grabber Michael Bloomberg prove it.
I never said he falsely claimed to have changed. I always believed he was honest about his views. I greatly admire him. The only complain I have about him is him granting amnesty, which supposedly was just one time thing. My parents were just stunned when he did it.
