I don’t much care WHAT they call it ... it will alweays be BC and AD to me

The article is about Jews in Israel. Jews have been using "BCE" and "CE" since the 19th century, as a way of using the same calendar as our gentile neighbors without affirming a faith that isn't ours.

I think the secular progressives started using "BCE" to replace "BC" a number of years ago, with the acronym meaning "Before Common Era."

I have one simple question for folks who insist on the silly "BCE" nomenclature: "What is the defining event that divides the two eras?"
