Yes, Negan.
I won’t bother with ITB much but I will note that in this future of theirs where guns have been completely eradicated have you noticed that the violence and crime is actually WORSE?
You can’t help but wonder if someone at AMC is pro 2nd Amendment!
The Talking Dead was really funny. Jason Alexander kept on saying that Sam should die. Then the actress that plays Deanna was really pretty cool.
Yeah, the writers can only go one of two ways with Eugene. Either he becomes zombie chow fairly soon, or something breaks through his shell of timidity in a most glorious, blood-drenched fashion. I'd kind of like to see him go full berserker. He's a big dude, it'd be entertaining to see him turn into 250 pounds of romping, stomping death and destruction.
Actually, I think that Eugene has a lot of potential. He’s a smart guy, and he has a lot of knowledge/skills. I don’t think that he will ever make for a good fighter, but they will need him if they ever want to try and rebuild civilization.
That is one way to look at it. Another way would be
to advocate the banning of guns because you can still
kill as much you want with swords and slow motion Kung foo
without waking the whole community.
Has his name or character come up in past episodes that I may have missed or is his name only familiar to others here since they have been followers of the comic book?
After watching the preview I did a search on him and it appears that he's going to be a pretty bad dude.........
This is the first time Negan has been mentioned on the TV show. However, others from his group have been recently shown on the Daryl plot line (when he was briefly kidnapped by the guy and two girls). They were trying to escape from Negan’s group.
No doubt, it’s almost like the writers set out to destroy Morgan’s character.
I remember that. She was so annoyingly chirpy.
LOL, we do!
" At least Eugene found something useful in his âskill setâ tonight."
*Shaking my head* That's true.
I cannot WAIT for Rick to find out who Morgan was sheltering, and the lengths to which he was willing to go to keep up his delusion.
The Wolf was TELLING him he would kill them all—so he bodyslammed CAROL.
Yeah, that’s going to come back to haunt Carl.
Thank you for that, CJ!
Intellectually I know you're right. But it's just become a visceral thing with me, the way he stands there shuddering and looking like he's going to cry. I keep hoping someone will pop him, and I'm so tired of seeing him rescued by girls.
I wish Milton had lived and joined the group.
If the show went that route with Eugene, I would love it. I don't know....maybe there's hope. Father Gabriel seems to be coming around, although I bet they'll have him get eaten as a result of Sam's stupidity.
I would assume all strangers are enemies at this stage of the game....
Morgan is a useful idiot leftist from hell.
Eugene used a fire truck hose to save the group. Eugene saved Tara (even though he was scared). Eugene knows how to pick locks (much quieter than using a hatchet like Rick used, so much less likely to attract walkers). He knows how to make batteries out of every day objects. He helps repair the solar panels in Alexandria.
He does act pretty cowardly around the walkers (he’s not going to become a melee fighter any time soon), but he does have strengths in other areas.
That preview was tucked into the first commercial break for Into the Badlands. I’m not liking the heavy-handed way that AMC is using to promote its new show.
That’s why I missed it. Haven’t watched Badlands, already burned out from the previews....
