Btw that was an extremely brutal no win. They knew at the onset it would get ugly due to the number of armed terrorist with explosives and how the hostages were confined. They didn’t do too bad everything considered. But still an ugly scene. Russia does not have a history of playing games with their enemies in conflicts such as this.
The Russians put several rounds into all 40 odd terrorists when most of them were already under due to the gas. Not that I blame them for it.
The local police did a crappy job of cordoning the place off and a local woman went into the theater on her own and urged the hostages to rise up against the cowards. Naturally she was killed but that was one ballsy woman.
