With S-400 systems in place and fighter escorts, plus a missile cruiser, there is little chance France or the US will shoot down anyone.

Well, we have a counter system designed specifically to take out the S-400 batteries.

The system is built by Raytheon and is excellent... but if we use this to take out their S-400 the next step would be the sinking of a US carrier somewhere...they have the hypersonic missiles to do it...and they are on the Moskva .. WW3 would follow close behind :-/

Interesting - but then using it would spoil the fun later when a countrer is really needed. The carrier would be the Truman coming on station in the Med soon.

But has the system even been purchaced let alone deployed?

We really need those near useless F-35s quickly - all other budget items take second place!

We wouldn’t use such systems anyway - some civi some place could get a scratch, and that would put a damper on Obama’s ravings, not to mention his golf game.
