Natural disasters triggered by climate change are increasing in frequency and hitting farmers in the developing world especially hard, threatening food security and employment in the poorest regions, the United Nations said in a new report.
The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) report, called Impact of Disasters on Agriculture and Food Security, was released Thursday, four days before the official start of the Paris climate-change conference, where the developing world will seek hundreds of billions of dollars in funding from wealthy countries to adapt to, and overcome losses from, potentially catastrophic climate change.
Concerns that climate-related losses could rise were reinforced on Wednesday, when the World Meteorological Organization reported that 2015 is on course to be the hottest year on record, and the years from 2011 to 2015 the warmest five-year period on record.

So if a monsoon hits someplace in the world the poor take a beating and rich people don’t even get their feet wet?
Monstrous government entities creating problems or simply making them up in order to demand more money to do more of the same.
The poorest countries biggest threat is the UN and the NWO threatening their access to cheap energy under the guise of the Climate Change scam.

Two years ago our church was sending food to Africa, but now the reason was "global warming".
The real reason was "consequence of socialism" in both cases, but now they want a much larger percentage of my income to try to fix it.
My point is that noting the poorest are harder hit by natural disasters than the rich is a truism that does actually have any real application to the public policy question at hand, namely the left's attempt to use climate modeling as yet another excuse for the expansion of state power.
Massive redistribution of wealth, deindustrializing developed nations, and general Marxism can change the weather.
The way to fight such nonsense is to actively support candidates (and forums) that espouse Conservative ideals.
Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader
PS - If you are one of those who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....
GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!
Best news I've read all morning.
I hate the world's poorest.
Mother Nature wipes out anything that gets in her way, from pricey hotels and the infrastructure that supports them to the lowest living in a mud hut. It’s nonsense to think anyone can escape the weather and it’s consequences.
