If you are posting here on FR, you should understand I also get news from FR and many other sources.
My comment was regarding the liberal know-it-alls who always have an opinion, but when asked say that they have ZERO source of knowledge on current affairs, other than SNL, People Magazine, or Colbert ( or however you spell his name).
If they are totally uninformed, they are basing their opinion on emotion and pop culture. Some people read “news papers” online. It’s a source of info, what we refer to as propaganda, but it is some info. Lots of the idiots don’t even have that as a reference.
Wow. I kept up with the Red Guards depredations against the Chinese people from 1966 on (I was in college). Sheer barbarism inspired by Quotations from Chairman Mao.
Didn’t know it spilled over into Hong Kong.
There was a New Yorker cartoon that year showing Red Guards milling about as one shouts,

I have a few... that voted for Obama twice. They even lost jobs had layoffs. Now, they actually think someone is a woman hater if they don’t vote for the witch. They also think Hillary will have an economy like slick Willy. It is frightening.

I think there is something going on to outnumber, outshout, and mob-rule these people, in front of the children.
