Doubtless there are lots of reasons; the rise of computer gaming, time taken up by social media, a general move away from TV as entertainment, and, of course, competing viewing modes like Hulu. But a couple of reasons why there is no TV in my house are: I don’t want to give money or viewing to liberals, what’s presented is generally not worth my time, there’s liberal propaganda in most programming.
We still have TV but it’s off most of the time. When I do watch, it’s streaming. Netflix, Hulu, etc.
As to the article, I wonder if ESPN counts separately those who watch via things like Sling, or if that’s folded into their cable numbers.
Sling is on the right path, but not quite there-they’re still bundling channels into their packages that we aren’t interested in.
