Just in. I am looking at a picture of the WTC with smoke pouring out of the western tower. Looks like a huge amount of damage. Debris raining down on people in the street.

On September 12, almost exactly 24 hours after terrorists slammed hijacked jets into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, an accountant in the Houston city controller’s office sat at his keyboard and typed a gloating e-mail to a friend in the city legal department.
“What’s your take on this bombing?†asked the sender, a slight 30-year-old man of Pakistani descent. He went on to offer his view:
“I say it’s great and wonderful and probably the best thing I’ve seen in my life.
“The world got what it deserved.
“Persons are rotten, evil, and thrash [sic] so this is what happens when they act like that and I hope a full scale war breaks out over this.â€Â
The author got his wish and more. As military action raged later in Afghanistan, his leaked e-mail provoked a bureaucratic battle at City Hall that led to his resignation. After the worker left, superiors found that his computer contained prurient e-mails suggesting he had solicited and purchased sexual favors from a female legal department secretary.
Although the recipient of the original e-mail was his confidante, she found the terrorism message alarming enough to turn it over to her supervisor, Connie Acosta, the section chief of the department’s labor division. And there the matter apparently rested for two weeks, until a staffer for Controller Sylvia Garcia was forwarded a copy of the e-mail and alerted her boss...

The celebrating scum were despicable, but to this day it was some Clintonista on a talking head show lamenting that because of timing we didn’t get to see Bill’s greatness that still gets me steamed.
I don’t remember if I posted about it, but I was at Mesa College in San Diego (2 of the hijackers went to another school that was affiliated - Miramar College and lived down the block from me). The morning of 9/11 many of us gathered to watch the footage and a fight broke out in the cafeteria because muslim students were cheering the news reports and the Sailors and Marines were not gonna take it. This led to a shut down of campus and about an hour later all students were escorted off campus class by class by armed military escorts. I drove the 20 mins back to Mira Mesa where we lived only to find out I couldn’t get home until I proved where I lived. I do have first hand knowledge of muslims celebrating the attacks.

Many Muslims celebrated on 9/11. Many continue to celebrate. Some even want a huge mosque at Ground Zero. Never forget. Never submit.
Muslims cheered in “Northern Virginiastan†too:
The area also includes two luxury apartment high-rises that erupted into cheers when the World Trade Center fell on 9/11. Law enforcement has dubbed them the “Taliban Towers.†Investigators routinely find posters and computer screen savers celebrating Osama bin Laden as a hero.
Down the street is a Saudi charitable front for al-Qaida once run by bin Laden’s nephew. The U.S. branch of the dangerous Muslim Brotherhood is in the same office park. Farther down in Alexandria is the Saudi madrassa that’s graduated several terrorists, including the al-Qaida operative who plotted to assassinate President Bush.
Agents on the ground working the inordinate number of terror cases in the area say it’s no less than the base of operations for the bad guys in America
They cheered in Jersey City too – home of the 1993 World Trade Center bombers. From a September 18, 2001 Washington Post article:

It did happen, and I saw it.
Donald Trump is telling the truth about Muslims celebrating in New Jersey on September 11, 2001.
I drove with family members though Patterson, N.J. that morning, after the planes hit. It’s not the kind of thing you forget.
We witnessed people in traditional Muslim garb dancing, jumping, shouting and celebrating like their team had won the Super Bowl, just as Trump said.
