'Safe haven': This floor plan shows the interior of one of the bunker's four apartments, which could be combined into one massive home

Preppers’ PING!!
Stories almost weekly on these bunkers makes you wonder how many we don’t know about? And if the collective consciousness isn’t trying to telling us something?

might come in handy given the way the world is heading, plus US govt lost an H bomb somewhere off Savannah years ago, if it ever goes off, you might survive. dont think I would want to put that to the test though.

I prefer a room with a view. Maybe they can do something with cameras or periscopes.

How does this system filter radioactive air?

Wonder if the come equipped with a few Robco industry Mr. Gutseys? Personally, I'd prefer an Assaultron or failing that a basic Protectron.

The bunker is a good idea so long as you are in it when the blast occurs. Too bad if you’re visiting relatives for Thanksgiving elsewhere. The trick to prepping is knowing when the disaster will occur. I’ve yet to solve that problem. Any ideas?

How does this system filter radioactive air?The air is not radioactive, just the particles in it.
You don't even need a filter, just a baffle system so the particles settle out.
If you want to get fancy, you can use everything from dampened cloth to furnace filters or HEPA filters.
Better to just have a baffle system that you can avoid, because with filters you will now have concentrated particles in the filter to dispose of.

With any luck, you will be able to drive to your shelter.
Depending on time, distance and wind direction, you may have from an hour to days.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure I don’t want to be anywhere near the eastern seaboard, even in a bunker. The nuc may not get you bit the population density horde eventually will.
