My wife is from Vermont and is as conservative, if not more so, as anyone on FR. My Mother is from Brownsville, TX and made the Karo pecan pie for 40+ years. I loved it. But this is better. My wife improved the recipe. “Yankee syrup” and all.
Just a lil syrup can add another dimension to just about any dish.
