She should be.

Maybe the people who thought she ran with the wolves were right. If she ran with them and lived to tell about it, I can’t see her fearing much of anything-in fact she is the one who should be feared if that’s true.

She also could have led the Wolves to the place, though that wasn’t shown in her backstory.
Or she saw them attacking, but was safely out of harm’s way. And when all heck broke loose, she had the foresight to run and stay ahead of everything.

That’s a good point. She was insistent on not going back to Alexandria. I wonder if she’ll make it past the the mid-season finale.
