NEVER cook your Turkey to an internal temp above 165deg.

Never.

In fact, take it out at 160.

Where is the best place to measure the internal temp.? I try to place into the thickest part of the breast. Once it was a bit under done, pink near the bones?? Thanks and Enjoy Thanksgiving!

Good point. Over cooked turkey is a choking hazard. I cook a turkey to 155°, let it rest on the counter for 10 minutes, then carve it all up. If you leave all the meat on the bird, it looks pretty, but it keeps cooking,
