I wished to share this with everyone.

Currently, I am in my student teaching experience for social studies and so many teachers ask me how it is that I can love American and freedom so much. My experiences in the Navy and the opportunity to see a world terrorized by Totalitarianism has only further instilled those beliefs about the greatness of America. When I read this letter, I had to share. Anyone who has seen the dangers of a world on fire from the evils of the left will come to appreciate this writing.

This man, John Gallagher from Canada, died fighting ISIS and represents all that is good and true about the Western World. So beautifully, the late Mr. Gallagher states why it is that we must fight ISIS.

"The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately, by the grace of God." Thomas Jefferson, July 24 1826.

Haters of America and freedom are free to depart to some people's paradise, like Cuba, Nicaragua, Syria...

Teachers who fit that profile should have "accidents" of just disappear, as should political leaders who try to impose totalitarianism.

and even ‘Islamophobia,’ since it betrays their utter terror of offending the sensibilities of immigrant communities

I had not thought of it this way but seeing it in print I know that it is right. The compassion mongers are the Islamophobes. They are the ones who fear Moslems. They fear to offend them in the least manner. The rest of us don't fear them, at least not viscerally. We understand the danger to civilization that they pose but the emotional fear is not there. We resent and oppose their arrogance and their threat. We do not fear them because we know that our civilization can erase them if it acts. We do fear somewhat our rulers who promote and kneel to the evil.

In stating that our Creator endowed us with unalienable rights, our Declaration of Independence has a much different emphasis than Mr. Gallagher’s. Rather than being part of all that is good about the Western World, the rejection of God is a turning away from what is best about America. In fact, our rebellion against God is the root cause of the many major ills that are tearing our nation apart. I don’t want a theocracy. I want our elected officials to uphold their oath to defend the Constitution. All of the incumbents in Congress failed, miserably, at this when, for example, the Electoral Votes for Obama were counted without anyone raising the question “Is this man eligible to serve as President?”
