Ah. No, I meant the bulbs themselves. Once they go dormant. I had them in a pot I put in my garage over the summer to protect them from rain and mice ate them up. Augh.
I don’t dig up the bulbs. I leave them in the ground. In my old home, the crocuses came up every year in the yard.
If I suspect trouble from deer or others, I shower the ground with cayenne powder. Had to do it with my pumpkins this year!
