I have seen these little whistle like devices that can be placed on the hood of a car. I think the whistle noise is supposed to scare off the deer. Have you ever heard of these and do they really work.

I know people who swear by deer whistles on their cars and trucks but there’s really no scientific basis for them to work.

I have a 3000W amp/quad stereo/subwoofer on my bike and play Rob Zombie full blast after dark.

Scares the crap out of them.

Never had any luck with those deer whistles.

They're just gimmicks and don't really work. When you think about it, most accidents occur when the deer is running out of the woods or gully or culvert and into the line of traffic.......

There's just as much chance of them hearing the whistling sound as your car engine.........
