Yes, and to the Egyptians’ credit, there is no record of them being “rejected”, though of course the Holy Family was eager to get back home as soon as it was safe.

Didn’t an angel tell them to flee to Egypt? I don’t think too many of today’s refugees had any visits from angels telling them to come here.
