Lookin' that way, ain't it?
Kind of a shame, because I was looking forward to seeing how well Windows 10 works on a phone. I like my iPhone but I have a few friends who are Microsoft fanbois who would jump all over a Win10 phone. I can't stand Win10's GUI toy tiles and the goofy huge spacings of the buttons on a normal video display, but I'll bet it works well on the smaller form factor.
*sigh*
> Do you still have a Betamax?
Ouch, I bet that left a mark...
And iOS gets a boost every mid-Q4, year after year. Must be the Christmas gift season.
You know what I think is funny about that is that Apple was late to the party too, but look at what they did to the market once they stepped into it. Same goes for the original ipod as well. There were plenty of mp3 players around before Apple introduced theirs, but they absolutely decimated the market. Actually, the term "decimated' really falls short of the mark by a wide margin.
The difference between Microsoft and Apple couldn't be more vast. The only market they've really been able to hold on to, mainly because of sheer momentum is the desktop, and office software. If Microsoft doesn't already own the market, and is the default choice made for users, they have a much more difficult time of it.
I suspect that may change somewhat in the future, with both Gates and Ballmer out of the picture.
I had a Windows Phone up until a month ago and liked it a lot. Can’t say my new iPhone 6 is so far any better. Switched because of app availability.
I never got into video recording. At all.
The technology was useless to me because I read books instead of watching movies. I do not even own a television.
Computers I use. A complete windows machine in the palm of my hand would be useful.
I am not surprised that people who by their own admission spend a lot of time drooling in front of a hypnotic screen are incapable of discerning that there is a difference between the two technologies.
WTF, this is bad. Windows Phone users — how do you feel about your phone? Are you waiting for Windows 10 for phones?I love my Nokia 930. I would deeply regret it if they gave up on that product line.
I wonder when the promised phone update to Windows 10 will arrive.
Good morning.
I’m running Windows 10 on my Nokia. I like it. Then again, I’m not a code slinger.
5.56mm
They have a history of showing up late to the party. Just ask Lotus, Asthon-Tate, WordPerfect, and Novell.
The 950 is out, but my word it’s expensive! And I’d have to go to ATT to get it.
