Hovind is a ‘false prophet’, as proven with his behaviors. He is just the sort of faux Christian the left loves to name as a ‘leading fundamentalist evangelical evangelist’. Which is no surprise given that satan directs the minds of media whoredom.
He was imprisoned for refusing to obey men rather than God, unlike the apostles, Paul, John, Peter, or the prophet Jeremiah. He is wacko like John Bunyan, Martin Luther or Jon Huss. You can tell a false prophet because they do not say peace peace and get themselves in trouble with the state. Yes I am being sarcastic!
Before you run around calling someone a false prophet you probably ought to know a little about what you are talking about. Your eagerness to bear a false witness to label a man as a false prophet without a specific charge might just make you the real false prophet in the room!

Kent Hovind was imprisoned for “Structuring”. Even a cursory examination of his situation makes it clear that he was persecuted by the Federal government and the IRS for his Christian beliefs. Unfortunately I expect that sort of garbage from our government these days, but I don’t expect it on FR.
