What I found strange about Friday night was how everyone in the soccer stadium moved out onto the soccer field when the SHTF. They looked very vulnerable all gathered down there, in the center... like fish in a barrel. If terrorists made it into the stadium, they could have fired on them down from the bleachers and they would have had no escape.
I would have been into the building looking for the various exits... or at least hiding places.
They may have feared a bomb causing the structure to collapse.
Geraldo’s daughter said they were herded down to the field “like sheep”. (I thought of sheeple). She said her group ran out and got to an exit, but were forced to turn back.
It’s a tough call. Letting them outside to where they knew the terrorists were isn’t the best. I suppose getting them on the field where they can perhaps do a quick visual inspection of everyone to scan for terrorists may have been part of the protocal. But yeah - lucky they didn’t have a few terrorists with AKs up in the stands.
