Is it just me but is AMC pro 2nd Amendment? With TWD of course you got to have guns to defend. Now with Badlands I just got a glimpse of the beginning when the narrator stated that Guns were outlawed or banned.

It is understandable that the barons would ban guns to retain control of a mostly slave society.
However, their society would fall as soon as invaded by someone else who has an armed force.

Isn’t it interesting that the premise of Badlands is that they completely banned guns but the overall violence is actually worse.

Just like everywhere else that has banned guns.

I cant say I know what AMC’s 2nd Amendment stance is. However I have never heard a statement pro, or con on the subject. TWD is defiantly a pro 2nd amendment series! No guns, and ya cant defend yourself. We here at FR get it! ;)
Into the Badlands pilot episode was pretty good. I think I will follow up on it.

The trailer they show about Badlands say guns have been outlawed - so now the martial arts experts rule the land. (Or something like that).

I told my kids: “See - right there is why we have a 2nd Amendment - so expert trained ninja guys don’t rule over us. Like they say “God created man, but Samuel Colt made them equal”. A firearm is the great equalizer!
