Unhappy with a series of small concessions from the administration, protesters at Yale University have released a new list of demands that include firing people they don’t like and giving their favored programs a budget increase of at least $8 million a year.
The new demands, released by a group calling itself Next Yale, were read aloud to Yale president Peter Salovey Thursday night by protesters who marched to his front door at midnight. The group says the demands are necessary to “reduce the intolerable racism that students of color experience on campus every day.†Salovey is given until Nov. 18 to respond.
As evidence of Yale's hostile racial climate, the demands cite a widely debunked alleged exclusion of black women from a party hosted at Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity. There is substantial evidence this alleged segregation did not happen.

I’ll take the or else. The whiny little brats can take the door, expel them all.
Expel them all. Preferably using catapults.
Or what? Is this an attempt at extortion? Will they turn violent? Will they simply leave campus and never return?
Call the bluff. Say "no" to the "demands". See what happens.
So black women weren’t invited to a party and this is what happens.
I’m sure they’ll be swamped with invitations after this.

It might be why they’re there. Because their parents don’t want them at home ;) They certainly aren’t learning anything.
So now it all boils down to what they want, more power, control and $$$. All for having down nothing with their lives.
HaaaVaaard would be a good place to start on that. Harvard apparently has enough income from its endowment to give every “student” a free ride.

excellent idea. When they whine about the shootings and muggins on campus, simply do nothing as to not offend the perps.

I have a feeling most of those kids are just spoiled rich kids that really do not need to worry about a job. Who in their right mind would want to hire, work with, or work for one of these total absolute waste of human flesh.
These people just would not cut it in any real profession such as engineer, scientist (a real one), lawyer or doctor.
Imagine one of these things becoming a lawyer and the judge hurts her feelings and she stomps out of the court room, leaving her client on trial for his life high and dry.
Educator Bill Lind had it pegged what is going back in 2000: On America's college campuses it has diminished freedom of speech, warped curricula, politicized grading and replaced intellectual integrity with vapid sloganeering. In classroom after classroom, professors offer an ideological rant, which students are compelled to regurgitate to get a grade: the vomit returns to the dog. These places--and they are many--are no longer universities, but small, ivy-covered North Koreas.
These young greedy, thankless black, college students simply follow in the footsteps of their heros who have been extorting for decades.
Time for the alumni of Yale, and lots of other places of higher education, who may have a few happy and fond memories of how things were at alma mater before the precious snowflakes decided to demand their version of social justice and freedom of speech be inflicted on the campus, show their disapproval of the impending revisions by cutting back on their annual giving.....
