I watched about 12 minutes, where this guy only reinforced our idea about the Atkins diet. Something we go on quite often to shed excess pounds. And my doc says my blood panel improves when I’m on it.

Don’t let confirmation bias and taking statements in the videos out of context deceive you. Whether you choose to disagree with their statements or not, your decisionmaking will benefit from making yourself aware of the state of their research and experience presented in these videos. One of the observations about the Atkins Diet and New Atkins Diet is that they fail to take into account the amount of glucose in the remaining carbohydrates and especially fails to account for the neoglycogenesis raising blood serum glucose as a consequence of consuming too many grams of protein in the diet. People with type II Diabetes often require lower levels of carbohydrates and protein in order to limit blood glucose and the increased insulin levels resulting from that blood glucose in order to enter and maintain a state of nutritional ketosis capable of removing the fat in the liver, pancreas and other parts of the body responsible for the continued metabolic syndrome, obesity, and diabetes.
