Eventually a google autonomous vehicle will cause a traffic fatality. It’s only a matter of time. The legal floodgates will then open wide.
The easiest way a Google Car could cause a fatality would be for one to delay an ambulance enroute to an injured person.
I imagine there is already some facility that enables the car to react to loud sirens, but how quickly, and in what directions?
