What a great rant even if you were being sarcastic. I am not obese or stupid. I am retired now, so I do admit to some amount of periodic laziness. The anti-smoking campaign devolved into a horrific demonization, which I predicted would target the fatties next. It’s all about control and collecting more of our money and transfer it to the Black Hole known as our Fascist Govt. If you want to smoke, smoke. If you don’t, don’t. I support you in your decision. If a business wants to allow smoking on the premises, that business should be allowed to do so. CUSTOMERS/EMPLOYEES BEWARE - DON’T SUE, DON’T BITCH WHEN YOU CAME IN ON YOUR FREE WILL.

I was definitely being sarcastic. I hate all social engineering via government. The unintended and second/third order impacts always overshadow the desired goals.
Tax tabacco to decrease use but tax income, savings to spur economic growth? WTF?
I do think states have the power to do such but the federal government does not!
