Well it looks like Trump is making a bid to take a chokehold over the headlines again. In an interview to be released later tonight, Erin Burnett says that Trump will compare Ben Carson's 'pathological disease' to that of a child molester's.
WOW. I guarantee you everyone will be talking about this when it comes out. He says that they're alike in that both conditions are incurable.
This hits at the very cornerstone of Ben Carson's campaign because so many support him based on his Christian convictions, which sprout from his story of being a violent youth and finding Christ. Trump has doubted his conversation story before, but this is the most rancorous denouncement yet. Will America buy it?
Jump the shark?
Given that carson is suggesting that we shoot Russian planes out of the sky I think that Mr Trump might have a point.
Couldn’t agree more.
“If Trump wins the nomination, this will kill any idea of a Trump/Carson ticket”
Thank God! :-)
We’ll see.
Trump got to this point on his own when everyone said he did not have a chance.
Trump knows exactly what he is doing and will turn all this in his favor.
All the other candidates who know how to control their mouths are all drowning.
Carson has significant honesty issues already considering the Mannatech thing, as well as his unexplained flipping on amnesty and other issues (he seems to change his position with every interview), and his support for TPP.
Conservatives should not shed tears for Ben Carson.
Trump is ensuring that hitlery becomes pres by alienating Carson voters.
Take the Ted Cruz tactic, focus attacks on the left & hype your message.
The idea of Pacifist Carson being Commander in Chief scares the daylights out of me. He has made some of the most looney statements on foreign policy and national security I have ever heard anyone say, much less a Presidential candidate.
Bump
This is deeply disturbing. There are other candidates holding many of the same positions as Trump but who have rational programs to achieve those goals and who do not find it necessary to invent insults and disrespect for opponents.
The age old pain quote comes to mind.
“This is going to hurt me more then it does you.”
This is the personality it will take to beat Clinton.
Stop it, Trump. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to keep going after Hillary until she is incarcerated.
On celebrity apprentice, Trump always seemed to really enjoy it when the contestants were verbally tearing into each other. The more and harder they fought, the more he seemed to enjoy it.
"The fact that I almost hit my mother should have made me realize how deadly my temper had become. Maybe I knew it but wouldn't admit the truth to myself. I had what I can only label a pathological temper - a disease, and this sickness controlled me, making me totally irrational...
"In that instant blind anger - pathological anger - took possession of me. Grabbing the camping knife I carried in my back pocket, I snapped it open and lunged for the boy who had been my friend."
Is that the British usage? Then I apologize to the author. I never heard that.
Yep. I’ll be listening.
Not saying much of anything different than Carson hasn’t said about himself.
