The ones who have $10k or even $0 in college debt aren’t willing to enslave themselves to their future ex-wife either. Hook-ups are just too easy to risk marriage. My advice is get a reversible vasectomy at age 18, don’t tell the women so they think they’re buying a ticket in the child support lottery, and have fun.

When I got a teaching credential and a job offer, I qualified for a loan on a 3-bedroom house in Claremont, CA. It was $18,000 and my first year salary was $9,000. Today, that same house is over 10 times the salary of a first year teacher.
