and do you know that the entire brouhaha is over HALLOWEEN COSTUMES, and not offensive Halloween costumes, but the POTENTIAL FOR offensive Halloween costumes. THAT is what has this dimwit SHRIEKING at this guy, who clearly has no balls for putting up with that treatment.
And his suggestion was that maybe if you are “offended” you don’t fly off the handle and instead give thought to calmly and rationally explaining to the “offender” why their costume does you grievous harm.
The little girl was homesick. College as bootcamp escapes her emotional life. She wants Yale to be her home where she is safe and protected. It is not and should not be. It is a place to grow up and become an adult in an adult world.
