Trump was a known element when I was in high school in the early 80s. I’ve known of him for far too long to buy his most recent round of “conservatism”.
Trump is not a Conservative, despite his claims to the contrary.
He has said he would serve as a Conservative (with the publication of his position papers).
But ultimately he's a Populist and a Nationalist.
It's like comparing Capital Stock Adjustment Theory and Beer.
