Exactly! It would have been perfect. I kind of wondered if it wasn’t shot in that season and then held back... (and then used as an almost “filler” episode to build tension for the horde onslaught).
The more I think about this episode, I do think elements of it were needed, especially as it plays out with that Wolf. But, it just should have been spliced with something else, like maybe Morgan’s initial encounter withe wolves. He’s going through the woods, he has flashbacks to meeting the aikido guy (sorry, forgot his name already, but he is a fine actor), and then the resultant effects as he faces off with the Wolves.

"Yes that is what Iâm upset...NO DARRYL! However, it looks like next episode will be about Darryl including a few cast members. They better not hurt Darryl though!" Finally...I was beginning to wonder if they forgot he was part of the cast.

"I think the wall is bleeding because the Walkers are pushing up against it and trampling each other down and slowly building a ramp up." I think so, too.
I'm trying to figure out what Deanna's point was in slapping the wall.

She’s gone full psycho. They’d better watch her. She’s liable to open the gate for some wacked out reason.
She looks almost as bad as a Walker. LOL

BTW, that burned-out forest he was in looked extremely creepy.

Yeah, like it was burned. Eerie like.
I hope Daryl heard only one Walker.

I do, too. I might have to have a glass of wine before next week’s show to settle my nerves, lol.

Thanks for the wine reminder.
I’m like you-I get nervous. Like when Maggie and the guy were down in the sewer. I thought Maggie was done for and it made me really nervous.

the blood dripping down the wall?
Maybe it was Spencer who we last saw on guard up on the top of the wall..maybe he offed himself and the blood was dripping right by Deanna as she staggered around...

"Thanks for the wine reminder." Anytime...and save some for the mid-season finale. ;)

I'm trying to figure out what Deanna's point was in slapping the wall. I think it was her realization of her failed liberal utopia...especially after her other son gave her a heavy dose of reality chewing her out about her failures.
I thought it was a decent episode, no comparison to 3 or 4 though. Where was Carol???

Just an idle thought of mine: Wouldn’t it be easier and more effective to build a fortress out of shipping containers? It’s not like you can’t find thousands of them almost everywhere. And if you put them one on top of another you’d get a wall 19 feet high and 8.5 feet wide. It’d also be crazy heavy and you could fill it with dirt or whatever to make it heavier.

That makes sense...I guess she was just impotently getting rid of some frustration.
I liked the episode, too...it was a couple of notches below the earlier ones, like you say, but still good.
I missed Carol, also. She was probably patrolling and making sure there wasn’t anyone else left to kill, lol.

Did we ever see how Rick got out of the RV? I'm thinking there's going to be an episode showing how he AND Glenn escaped their predicaments! Maybe not a whole flashback episode but something they can work into the story. Maybe I'm just hoping to much, I like Glenn... I hope he slipped into some space the walkers can't get him but he's stuck right now. I also think the group still out there will eventually come together and in some way help out our group in Alexandria. I'm talking the real group, not the idiot original Alexandrians. I've seen how Glenn dies in the comics and I just don't think that would fly with the fans of the TV show either, it's just so anticlimactic after all he's done. I've always thought he was in it for the long run.

Did we ever see how Rick got out of the RV? I meant to bring that up. I don't think so, unless I missed a couple of minutes. That was to big of a cliffhanger not to show.
