The routine administration of lipid-lowering medications may be to blame. Yes I too refuse to take statins. After taking Crestor I had muscle and joint weakness/pains. Scrooge that.. Now I just take a low dose BP med, baby aspirin and eat balanced diets (red meat and butter included). Make some green smoothies and drink red wine. When the body can’t hack it anymore its time for the human junkyard called the cemetery. We all check out sooner or later
