The routine administration of lipid-lowering medications may be to blame. They have been shown to damage muscle tissue, put a substantial burden on the liver, and deplete important nutrients, accelerate aging, and there is also evidence that they tend to make those taking them more inclined to risky and aggressive behavior.

Yes I too refuse to take statins. After taking Crestor I had muscle and joint weakness/pains. Scrooge that.. Now I just take a low dose BP med, baby aspirin and eat balanced diets (red meat and butter included). Make some green smoothies and drink red wine. When the body can’t hack it anymore its time for the human junkyard called the cemetery. We all check out sooner or later
