I give the fight round to BOR. George Will showing up to take on O’Reilly on his show gets some points.

Did George Will challenge the accuracy of Ted Baxter’s book on Reagan? I have heard others say the part about Reagan being mentally incapacitated is B.S.

Somebody stood up to O’Blowhard!

Will has been a disappointment of late, but give him props for calling out Bill on his latest ill-researched book.

ROTFLMAO!!

Caught it, Will stepped in it up to his knees putting down "The Bloviator's" book.

Hell, I was saying "Go Bloviator" for a while :)

I don’t believe O’Reilly even writes those books. Dugard must be the real writer. O’Reilly and Dugard were totally off on that Patton nonsense. They have no credibility.

Rick Atkinson, a historian and author of several books about World War II, agreed saying Patton’s death was from injuries suffered in “a fender bender, outside Heidelberg, in the fall of 1945.”
Robert H. Patton, the general’s grandson and author of The Pattons: A Personal History of an American Family, said both research and family lore discredit O’Reilly’s version of events.
Carlo D’Este, author of Patton: A Genius for War, said there was no reason for an assassination since Patton was close to death.
“You’ve got to look at what Patton’s situation was. He was a quadriplegic, he was going to die anyway, he was totally immobilized, he couldn’t move,” said D’Este. “What is the point of assassinating him and where did Stalin come from anyway? There have been a lot of claims made over the years and here is a new one. Sure, somebody could have snuck in the hospital, but why would you bother? You need to verify facts. That certainly raises a red flag with me.”

"You don't ask someone on your show..."

Will knew he was being called on the carpet. The first part of the interview was about how he had been ducking the face off.

Not a big fan of Bill, but I would have paid to see Will get that ass kicking.

Everything I’ve read says that O’Reilly does a hack job on Reagan. I think it was Ed Meece who thoroughly canned O’Reilly’s book as out of touch with reality and spouting old democratic party lies.

Only thing missing which would have made it pay for TV material is if O Reilly had grabbed the scrawny necked bespectacled bow tied worm by the neck and choked him till his eyes popped into his glasses.

Thanks, Mouton. I have not watched FOX in about 4 years, but I WOULD PAY to see that.

I haven’t read any of his books. The Killing series is nonsense. Most of the people he profiles died in bed of natural causes. No one killed them.

:=-”The title of Bill O’Reilly’s new book?

“Killing George Will”.”

LOL, that’s funnier than heck. Good one, and clever to boot.

I saw O’Reilly’s story about the history of Kit Carson. O’Reilly narrated it. In his story he states that Kit Carson fought against “the Mexican Army” in San Diego County California. One problem: the Mexican Army was never in California. Kit Carson fought a skirmish against Spanish speaking Californios.

I read one of O’Reilly’s books—Killing Patton. O’Reilly’s ghost writer seemed to gravitate to sensational but unsubstantiated rumors. The prose was substandard. Will's no better than O’Reilly but at least he was defending Reagan against a closet liberal.
