OTOH, I’ve seen way too many instances where formulaic, by-the-book managing has cost a team.
Guy comes in to do the 7th, gets them 1-2-3, so of course we pull him because someone else is “assigned” the 8th. then he blows the game. We’ve all seen it over and over.
