Darryl is pretty much the most worthless character on the show. He kills walkers with arrows and then has to go fetch the arrows which is a highly inefficient method, especially given how many alternatives are available.
He’s not a leader, he’s not a planner, he wouldn’t even say shit if he had a mouthful
Perhaps, most importantly, he doesn’t seem to have the ability or interest in procreating.
He needs to go.
He brings back food.
Plus, if they killed Daryl, the writers would have to flee the country.
I don’t know how many times butts have been saved thanks to Daryl. He’s far from worthless.
For me, my loyalty to the character was cemented when he offered to give up his own life to Joe so that Rick, Michonne, and Carl could live.
