Hopefully.
(Evil grin)
Any ideas on this season’s turtle theme?
Thanks. Got the show later than the rest of you but reading the posts enabled me to make the decision to turn over to The Good Wife at 8 PM.
Very slow, irritating and disappointing episode.
Are we going to be saddled with Morgan now or will someone do us a favor and off him?
I don’t understand. But I’m about to fall asleep. lol
At this point, if Morgan has half a brain he should collect the main characters, abandon the stupid Alexandrians and avoid the herd and Wolves, and head back to the cabins with electricity and water. That’s what I got out of this episode! Oh and I know why Morgan’s good with his stick.
But I know that’s not going to happen.
Maybe it’s just a nod to the dinner turtle from a previous episode.
Stick fu guy had a “Save the Terrapins” shirt on.
Also three turtle paintings/prints in his house.
There was some other turtly thing, I forget what it was.
Of course, being so obsessed with the 2016 election, the first thing I thought of was tippytoes.
Worst episode ever. It most certainly did not need to be 90 minutes.
And if they're going to give us filler episodes with character backstories, I'd much rather see Michonne's or Daryl's. At least with Daryl we'd get to see Merle again.
If I were to make a list ranking TWD episodes from best to worst, this one would be dead last.
But that was zombie guts. Glenn would be covered in fresh "live" human guts... still smells yummy.
And babies are walker bait.
Waiting until all the walkers are dead/destroyed/rotted is the only way to have screaming babies that have a decent chance of living, unless you live on a boat / oil platform the zombies can’t get and you have sufficient vigilance to destroy your newly dead to not threaten the living.
That’s more dangerous than a zombie. It is a willful malicious person, and the threat remains because Morgan is selfishly putting others at risk to “pay it forward”.
The psychiatrist who killed the guy who killed his family CHOSE to take the risk with Morgan.
Morgan is putting more than his own life at risk if this murderer gets out, and THAT isn’t his choice to make.
[The goat committed suicide...]
The poor thing probably had good reason to off itself considering what else it had to endure other than what the doctor used it for, besides milking.
It’s an old classic (won a few Oscars I think) but entirely relevant if you know someone who tries to make you think you’re losing it...
I mean, dude--can't you scrape your teeth with a tree branch?
Thanks for the reminder. I don’t know what we’ll be seeing. Too many twists and turns. LOL
You have to be kidding me...
"So to see mercy and peace handled here, this week, in such an in-depth and meaningful way was a revelation. And one that now makes me retroactively appreciate everything Morgan was doing back in "JSS."
"And while I'm retro-applauding Morgan's "JSS" choices here, I'm glad he didn't kill that Wolf at the end.
"That's how powerful "Here's Not Here" was. It now has me actively rooting for Morgan to not kill people."
Whoever wrote that is living in some kind of alternate universe.
I mean, dude—can’t you scrape your teeth with a tree branch?
Some walkers have better teeth than him. Those Wolves are real animals.
The “W” on their foreheads is there for a purpose. A bullet right in the middle.
LOL, seriously!
I will say that the episode contained two very good performances, but ending on such a cliffhanger last week and then putting the brakes on in such a screeching way THIS week is not good timing.
I blame Morgan for Eastman’s death; he froze up because, once again, the world revolves around Morgan’s self-indulgent guilt, and as a result people are put at risk. He went too far in one direction while he was on the crazy train, and now he’s overcompensating, and who cares who gets killed as a result, because it’s all about him and his feelings.
I still miss Merle.
For me personally, the worst episodes were those godawful Beth-centric hospital ones. But last night’s bugged me about as much as the eps that were focused only on the Governor...I just don’t care. I knew Morgan had met some peacenik who taught him the faux-Buddhist way; didn’t need the details.
Calling Carol, LOL
Depends. If say you have so much canned food that it’ll go bad before you could possibly eat it then there’s no reason to ration it. It’s also more logical to eat what you can when you can so you’re strong enough to fight zombies when you have to.
