So do I. The pen isn’t needed to doodle on the screen. It’s just a plastic stick. Not sure where you see that as “pen support” or even the direct ancester to any pen-based computing products.
I have a Dell handheld running Windows Mobile from that Era that does the same thing (maybe better). Still works and handwriting recognition is pretty good. I don’t use it because smartphones have way oustripped the usefulness of any 90s handheld..
