I took it back off, on my laptop, the touchpad wouldn’t work correctly.

I've upgraded 4 or 5 computers. The only one that gave me trouble was a lenovo Yoga and the right mouse button wouldn't work. I went to the Lenovo site and found a bunch of updated drivers for all sorts of things, including the touchpad. After installing the new drivers I went to the Windows Settings for my mouse, went to advanced settings (which opened the driver app) and clicked the box to use default settings. Bingo....no more problems. I have NEVER had a problem with MS Office. As far as antivirus is concerned, get rid of it and use Windows Defender instead.
