I never knew that 'Bleeding Heart' was the name of an actual flower.Most flowers have an official Latin name, and then a popular name — like the way rudbeckia are called "black-eyed Susans" or "coneflowers." The Latin name of "bleeding hearts" is lamprocapnos.
