I’m not sure if this would count as a cheap trick, but if he was under that other guy, I can see that he wouldn’t die. There have been people who hide beneath corpses and survive. So if that one guys gets eaten, perhaps Glenn can survive beneath him. Maybe.
I didn’t interpret the statement that way. I thought it was very ambiguous.
Oh crap - I meant Glenn - not Carl!. (Glenn could/should have killed the guy that killed himself and brought Glenn down with him).

That show “Fear the Walking Dead” gave some hint on that with the early riots, power going out, neighborhoods cordoned off. There was a good movie from years ago on the power going off in Los Angeles and how the situation escalated over a few days.

I can’t remember. I looked on several movie sites and can’t find it. I really liked it. The power goes out and the family has fun in the dark for the night. The next day is quiet, but the next night the riots begin. The third day the son needs medication and the pharmacy is closed due to the power being out. The father panics and tries to break in. They end up fleeing LA and are “befriended” by a stranger who has a cabin in the mountains..... It might have been a made for TV thing.
That’s what I thought too. Plus, in watching it again, the expression on Glen’s face is more like I can’t believe this is happening - not I am in terrible agony. He wasn’t screaming was he? Could a person avoid screaming if his guts were being torn out?
Color me undecided, but suspicious that the writers might be pulling a fast one.
Don’t spoil it for me, because I only just watched episode 3 last night... but....if they bring Glenn back, the series has officially jumped the shark.

Ok, tell ya what. I will give you a 120 minute episode with Daryl where he breaks into a Planet Fitness and soaps up, then rinses off, then soaps up, then rinses off, over and over in the shower. Then he finds a fashion store next door and spends the rest of the episode dressing and undressing his tight clothes.

But, me...I'm all emotion, man. I can't lose one of my fambly. I need Glenn to live and I will take it even if the cookie monster reaches his hand out of the dumpster and drags him in. I'll fanwank it somehow.
