A second person has died after a masked man wielding a “knife-like” weapon carried out a stabbing attack at a school in south-west Sweden, the local hospital has said.
Swedish media reports said the second victim was a boy, but this could not be immediately confirmed. The first person to be fatally injured in the attack at the school in Trolhättan, an industrial city near Gothenburg, was a teacher.
Two other patients, believed to be pupils, remained in a critical condition, but one had stabilised, the hospital said. It was treating the attacker, whom police have identified as a 21-year-old man, for gunshot wounds, according to reports.
Police have said they do not know the motive for the attack. There were conflicting reports as to whether he was armed with a knife or a sword, or both, when he entered the school at about 10am on Thursday. Students locked themselves in classrooms and cupboards to escape.
Police spokesman Thomas Fuxborg told the Associated Press the attacker carried more than one weapon, including “at least one knife-like object”. Fuxborg said police fired two shots, one of which hit the attacker.
“When we first saw him we thought it was a joke. He had a mask and black clothes and a long sword. There were students who wanted to go with him and hold the sword,” a student told Swedish media.
Some witnesses said the attacker was wearing a Star Wars mask. Others took it to be a Halloween prank.
A statement from the hospital said: “We have four seriously injured patients. All are in surgery right now. One is a teacher and two are students. One is 11 and one 15 years old.

The last Scandinavian (A Norwegian) that went on a Rampage was also motivated by the immigration policies of Scandinavia.
I have been predicting that there would eventually be a Viking blood backlash, and then it will be very unsafe for Muslims to remain in Scandinavia.

He was then jailed in isolation for months until he was convicted of “inciting hatred against minorities”. The entire establishment mass media were completely silent. No one proclaimed, “I am Dan Park!”
The fact of the matter is that if Charlie Hebdo was a Swedish magazine the publishers would have been jailed and convicted a long time ago, with Expressen and mass media’s silent consent.
Swedish state media slipped up directly after the attacks when their foreign correspondent said on the air that it was not “innocent” people who had been attacked.
The establishment and the media are one. They operate as a unit for mass immigration, for Islam, for the destruction of Western culture and society, oppressing dissent by whatever means necessary. Just as we saw in the forming of the December Junta, where the two political blocs agreed not to provide opposition against one another simply to isolate the patriotic Sweden Democrats and continue mass immigration.

I guess he is part of a generation of kids now coming of age who were traumatized by the 911 attacks.

Yes I was, but it was just a guess based on them not telling us the perpetrators name right away.
For what it's worth I have also been predicting a backlash by Native Swedes. They've been burning down refuge housing. Perhaps they are starting to wake up and fight back.
There will be more bloodshed from both sides before this is over. I do not see how it can possibly be resolved peacefully.
