Answer the question: Imagine youre elected to office here in America. Would you grant a monopoly by law or not?
Are you not aware of any monopolies or oligopolies granted by government in America?
Perot was an imperfect candidate but he was completely right.
Perot was right.
Trump is even more right, and the problem is now massive. You can insult Perot, maybe he deserves criticism or maybe he doesn’t. I believe he was on the right path, in the wrong party.
But Trump is completely right. Everyone else is sold out globally.
Everyone.
The history is clear, Perot lead directly to a Clinton victory by less than majority vote. He reentered the race when Bush surged, just to insure Clinton would win. How did that turn out? Trump will do the same.
Now, imagine youre elected to office here in America. Would you grant a monopoly by law or not?
No. Not at all.
I don’t know where you got that. It is never an issue I have advocated.
Never.
“Tell me right now! What else are you lying about? Prove to me you are not a liar about everything you have said and will ever say in the future! And stop the cereal thing with all of your wives,!”
I am aware that public utilities, gas and electricity are defacto monopolies regulated by the state.
What others are there? Maybe pro sport franchises are a monopoly...I can't think of any others right now.
Certainly not in the area of manufacturing which is the heart of this discussion.
So Trump has spent 4 million dollars, is interviewed everywhere, is doing speeches almost every single day, and every other candidate has spent double or triple or quadruple in some cases of their own money plus millions from their SuperPacs, and they're all losing badly and Trump is winning.
Are we sure that Trump is even going to need to spend 30 or 40 million to win this primary?
I've tried looking for any such quote where Trump has stated he's spent only 500 thousand, and never found it. Do you have a link or are you just unhinged?
Except the ones who support Keystone and the border wall, presumably. Both require eminent domain.
He should ask for online donations. As he himself has said, a voter investing in their candidate of choice is a different thing than lobbyists bundling millions to set up a quid pro quo.
Free trade only ever existed within the country itself, and the rest in Adam Smith's mind. A "free trade" where you don't have the complete disassembling of our manufacturing in America and the transfer of our labor to the cheapest locale simply doesn't exist in the real world. "Conservatives" who embrace the free-trade cult are just stupid utopians.
excellent post.
If Trump can spend less than the other candidates while still winning, imagine what he can do with the US budget.
Not true, Trump said $1 billion.
In his words 'the press are a bunch of dishonest people. They're terrible'.
Thank God America is awakening.
Entire article is great. Well worth the read and proves Trump’s keen business sense, yet again.
Trump is showing how to get more with less. Thats what I for one want to see. It’s not how much , of others peoples money - aka donations , you can spend. It’s what you get for the least amount.
A point the MSM and opponents fail to grasp.
If Trump can spend less than the other candidates while still winning, imagine what he can do with the US budget.
-——— That s what the politicians are afraid of . they know he will ask/demand accountability for spending “ our tax dollars”
So as an elected official you are stating that you’d never grant a legal monopoly or oligopoly, correct?
Dearest Awgie, I am a conservative. I judge a person not by what they say, but by what they do. Trump has switched wives three times. I understand that marriages can become irreconcilable, yet each time he’s traded for a trophy wife. There’s a pattern here, no?
As a conservative I am very pro-family. Trump by his own admission didn’t raise his kids. Neither did Ivana. They were raised by his in-laws who were old country Czechs. The kids came out great, but not because Donald was a great dad.
Now Trump has admitted to serially lying about his wealth and income. Here’s the article so you can read it for yourself: http://www.forbes.com/sites/randalllane/2015/09/29/inside-the-epic-fantasy-thats-driven-donald-trump-for-33-years/
It is a logical conclusion to ask, “What else is he or might he be lying about now?” He says many things that I like, but to pretend that he’s beyond reproach is silliness and dangerously foolish. Be skeptical of Trump, just as you would be of any politician. If his name were Clinton or McCain or Romney you would be.
Don’t drop your guard now.
