Although dental hygiene is very important, the truth is that hereditary issues make a huge difference. There are just some people whose mouth make a great septic tank for the dental caries bacteria. So even given the same dental hygiene protocols, some people will get more cavities than others.

100% agree on the importance of heredity to development of dental caries and also chronic halitosis.

Some people fool themselves into thinking the absence of those is due to their own good habits
