The news has been hurtling around the world tonight on Twitter:Welcome home, Kirsten.
How much proof do you need that I am Catholic?
This is laughable- only because its a common if not a favorite mistake of the non-Catholic crowd that confuses individual lives with Church doctrine. Unbroken Church doctrine shared by early theologians, contemporaries of St. John, scholars, and historians and of course saints and martyrs all believed in the One, True, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church for the first 1500 years prior to the plague of Protestantism that washed a shore a veritable debris of heresies and several thousand brands of Christianity each offering their own huckster version of Christianity from Rev. Jeremiah Wright to Joel Osteen and everything in between from Jim Jones to David Koresh.
Sorry, that's my argument...the rules,in effect for 1,6900 years don't change because you don't like them...
What a novel concept. You mean I can't do enough good works, to make it to Heaven. I am crushed I tell you, crushed. I think there is a hockey game for me to watch. 😂😇😆
Asinine question and not a realistic conclusion...
Christ established a church, within a few years of its establishment it was centered in Rome, it became known as Catholic....or universal, that church, established by Christ grew, in Rome to become the Roman Catholic Church....there was NEVER a break in continuity, and there was NEVER a break in the authority which Christ gave to His apostles...When Christ said "THIS IS MY BODY", He meant it and gave His followers the power to do the same. Catholics still have the Eucharist, those who can't figure it out, don't....very sad.
spelled bologna and I love it...if , for one moment, you are challenging my statement, you have entered a war totally unarmed.
Indeed. Peter Viereck wrote “Catholic baiting is the anti-Semitism of the liberals.”
NO, DON'T DO THAT, this site, with zillions of the religiously uneducated, trying to disprove the Catholic Church is more fun than a human being should be allowed to have.
It is fascinating to see people design their own thought processies to justify their own conclusions....
If I believe that it happened this way, then my belief system superceeds 1,600 years of history....I GET TO SEEK SALVATION ON MY OWN and set my own rules as to what constitutes truth. I Love this site, it points out that even if God Himself comes to Earth and establishes a religion....others think that they are better able to do so AMAZING!!!!!
STOP...where are the other two naughty Popes...you had ten, did two get pardoned???
Within "a few years"?
Not even withing a few centuries, and not even now, more actually.
The Latin Church is not, and never was supra-set "the" Church, one and alone.
History is not on the side of your specious claims, terycarl.
Sorry, you lose again.
And I'm sorry that you cannot see it, no matter how many times it has been shown to you that ----your assumptions and suppositions are, as you remarked towards another here (and do put your own limited opinions) rather asinine.
Sorry, if I were black, I wouldn’t give to the Ku Klux Klan, if I were a Jew, I wouldn’t donate to the Nazis,, as an American, I’d never give to the Communist or dammocrap parties.
I won’t give my money to a platform for anti-Catholicism.
You have to be kidding, there are no anti-Elsie haters...you have as much credibility as Hillary and are even more entertaining. You can cut and paste far better than she can and as for depth of thought....well, let's just leave well enough alone.
Easy for a person who's kid is God.
No, but God does and He isn't about to do so...I am wondering what this post is supposed to mean?????????
O.K., I give up, please explain how the religion, personally started by Christ, which was the only Christian religion on Earth for 1,600 years, who compiled, edited, preserved, copied (by hand) the Bible that we have today, has 1,400,000,000 current members is wrong, and you are right..
one aside, I have been on this site since 1998 and I have NEVER seen anti black comments from anyone....are you a little too over sensitive???
Yeah, both of them...but you're right for a change...fair is fair.
JIm saw this thread, he chose to do nothing. The anti-Catholicism continues unabated. So be it. We all make choices.
