It’s a different ballgame when you have a BMI of 40 or more. Fat people have unique fat roll placement. The fat rolls on obese people are almost like a fingerprint. Finding a pair of (non stretch) jeans that fits your particular distribution of fat rolls is challenging. It’s easier to just buy the ‘athleisure’ stuff that doesn’t fit as closely and fight other battles.

Oh, I’m not sure about fighting other battles. Pushing 60, there are too many as it is. I’m convinced these young girls are going to find their waistlines expanding prematurely. Not just weight gain, but redistribution. Enough is enough. I’m ditching elastic waists if it kills me- and getting a waist cincher on top of it.

Palazzo pants are my newest infatuation. Stretchy, very loose, wide legs. They fit snugly around the waist and hips and are very loose and flowy below the apex of the bum. Most comfy pants I own. I found them at dollar general of all places. I can’t wear the crappy low or mid rise pants that are in fashion now.
